I have recently installed Visio 2003 SP1 (I have 2002 previously)

I have a number of building plans that were originally saved in 2002. When I open them in 2003 it prompt to ask me to 'Update the building plan shapes to 2003'.

When I try to move doors or windows on the plan they appear to be locked to the walls, I have tried to unlock, unprotect and ungroup them but I still have the same problem.

If I add a new wall onto the page and add a new window or door to it it doesn't join onto the wall properly.

It doesn't seem to matter whether I said yes or no to the conversion above, the problem still happens.

If I create a new drawing and add a wall and a window or door they join together correctly.

If I create a new drwaing and then select all of the objects in the old 2002 drawing and paste them into the new drwaing the problem still exists.

Any suggestions as I don't want to redraw all of the plans in 2003 because of some conversion 'bug' ?

I have just tried SP2, same problem.

I wonder if it is some page or object protection that is different between 2002 and 2003 ?
