good morning all!

Does anyone know if there is a way to publish a package and allow users to run the report against the package, yet hide the package itself so that end-users with query studio cannot see or use that package on their own?

This is a on going debate in our office this week. Thought i'd post here to see what you guys can offer!

We have Report Studio, Query Studio and Framework Manager 1.1

Thanks a bunch!

You can definitely hide the packages in the public folders via a change to one of the system.xml files (try searching through this forum, or looking in as this question has been answered many times).

However, this hides the packages but the users are still able to access them via query studio, provided they have access to the package initially. If you dont want query studio users to access certain packages, then its a matter of changing their permissions
