I am trying to create a button on a form that when it is pressed it makes a text box or label appear that will stay permenant.

I.E

Press button "Out Of Use"

Text Box/Label appears "This item is presently not in use"

Save Form Text Box/Label still visible.

I am not certain if this is what you want;

1. place a label on the form with text in that you want to show
2. set the visible property to false
3. in your code when you want this label to appear just set the visible property to true

Make the text nice and bright and that makes it a warning box. easy

You may make the textbox as bound control, make the border of the textbox as transparent, and also make this textbox locked.

When the button is pressed, the field under the textbox is populated as "This item is presently not in use." If the button is not pressed, the field is always blank and the textbox looks invisible.
