VirusScan 7.1.0 and EPO 3.0.1

Hi,

I try to install Viruscan 7.1.0 with EPO 3.0.1 on remote computers but the product doesn't install.

On the agent log, i have these lines :

Script 10.11.2003 14:45:51 Info 0409 is not in the catalog file.
Script 10.11.2003 14:45:51 Info Product Conflict: VIRUSCAN6500 will not be installed.
Script 10.11.2003 14:45:51 Info Checking for software conflicts.


I don't know if it's my problem.

Boy, it looks like you've really got something messed up! I'd remove 7.1 from the repository and start over again. The McAfee designation for 7.1 is virusscan7100.

I assume you are trying to deploy with the deployment job. In 3.01 tasks.

it is telling you that the english version is not in catalog. that is weird, try re-downloading and re-adding vse7.1 pkg to the repository

VIRUSSCAN6500 is the designation for VirusScan 4.51 SP1. If you have it installed, remove it and re-install to the repository.
