Virusscan 5.2.1

Hi,

I've got Mcafee Virusscan 5.2.1, and have just bought a new machine with Windows XP on it.

Will this version still work? I'd obviously have to update teh engine and DAT files - but would this be ok? Alternatively - which free anti-virus programme would you recommend???

No. You'd need to upgrade to a newer version, either 6 or 7 (preferable). 5.2.1 wasn't really designed for XP.
