I have a client that wants to forward emails to her Blackberry PDA. The problem is that emails with viruses hang in the outbox upon forwarding and permanently lock up the .pst, requiring a new .pst build and import from the old .pst every time it happens. The email can't be deleted from the outbox even after manually killing the Mapisp32.exe process.
Seems that because this is the Corporate Edition antivirus client and we're using the Internet Only POP3 client from Outlook, the forwarding to the outbox is happening without the email being scanned, which it normally is when opened.
My question is: would a NAV 2004 client instead of the Corporate Edition client on the desktop scan the email before forwarding it? Or would Outlook 2003 allow scanning before forwarding? Any other solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Specs are Windows 2000 SP4, Office 2000 Pro, and SAVCE 8.1.
