Howdy,

I recently have been having a great deal of trouble with spyware (vx2.betterinternet) and others.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a Linux live cd distro that can clean up a machine that usually runs Windows? I would like to be able to insert a disk (similar to Knoppix) and run a anti-spyware and or virus program within the confines of the linux os to prevent the self defense mechanisms of the applications from being a factor in removal.

A utility of this sort would make it much easier to cleans machines that are constantly abused by such applications, particularly when faced with the reality that future spyware/virus applications may become as difficult to remove as the vx variants have been...

Thanks for any information,
onrdbandit
