Virus Scan set for 12pm .............

This slows the users pc down emensly. Does someone have to be logged onto the pc to preform the virus scan? this pc is on our domain and the scanning is coming from our server which has corporate ed. 8.0?

Nobody has to be logged on for a scheduled scan to occur. I run scans at noon because it's the only time I can be assured the client pcs are turned on.
