We removed our virus scan (Damn Panda) and when we restarted the server, the Information Store wouldn't start. After doing some research, we found out the IS was damaged and has to be recreated. We have the all the old info and database on an old server. Luckily we have a backup of the priv. and pub. edb files and copied everything over to the new server and ran the optimizer but it's still working. We even copied over the exchsrvr from the Program Files within Windows 2000 A.S, and it's still not working. If more information is needed, please let me know.

Thanks.

Hello !

Try to Patch up the store files. Runs the following command ISINTEG -patch from the Bin directory. and then try to restart the store.

If it still does not start try ESEUTIL to check the consistency of database. try the /MH switch...
