Virus Scan Enterprise 7 Crashes PC on boot

We have deployed Virus Scan Enterprise 7.0 via ePolicy Orchestrator on idential Windows XP SP1 Desktops. However the PCs, experience a periodic system crash when the system boots. As the PC is booting a number systems service fail to start forcing the user to reboot. This occurs on different PCs, usually 3 to 4 a week out of 100 desktops deployed with this configuration. Anyone got any ideas?
