I installed VSE 7.0 on a portion of our Windows 2000 mixed mode domain. I was able to point the W2K Professional machines to an internal repository and they were able to update their DAT files and engines. When I log onto the workstation as an Administrator and run Scan all Disks function it works fine. If I log onto the same machine as a regular user and run the same job it returns an internal error unable to scan C:\boot sector. Has anyone figured out a work around on this?
