Virus Scan 5.21, Win2kPro SP3 compatibility probs?

Hello everyone,
Just wondering if there's a compatibility problem with Virus Scan 5.21 and Win2k Pro SP3...i know i shouldn't have installed SP3 right away, but I was building a new comp for someone who's going to be out of the country for a while, so i figured i might as well update it with the latest.

I chatted with McAfee tech support and they said that Virus Scan 5.21 is not compatible with IE6?? Everything was working until i installed SP3...after that, Virus Scan would not load when I restart, and if i try to manually start it, it freezes. Anyone else experience the same problems?

i have my win2k on auto update and after installing much needed updates, my mcafee doesnt work... i think our problems are related, you might want to check my other thread for the description of the problem.

The best option is to upgrade to version 6.02. Or you can wait for version 7 which is slated for a mid-August release.
