Virus Scan 4.51 not uninstalling through EPO

I am trying to push Virus Scan 7 to machines that had 4.51 installed via netware. Random uninstalls of Version 7 are failing because 4.51 will not uninstall. The reason is that 4.51 cannot find the original MSI that it installed with. Mcaffee knowledge base article NAI30667

ID NAI30667 - Uninstall of VirusScan 4.5.1 fails during upgrade to VirusScan Enterprise 7.0&sourceKmap=&viewFrom=Main

There seems to be 2 solutions but they are both manual. 1. Map the drive where it installed from
2. Run Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup Utility

Does anyone know of an automated way of doing this??
