I have a message that comes up just about everytime a web page changes. It says "Your system is infected and your computer performance is not at the highest level." It then tells me that I nees to download anti-spyware and delete the issue. I have run AVG anti-spyware and AVG virus and the anti-spyware didn't find anything. The AVG virus did find 3 problems and deleted it. Any suggestions?

After running the scans are you still having the redirects?

You are right. I found it another way. I deleted the file. It was an add-on to IE. Thanks so much for your help. I didn't know how to find it.

Somewhere that you go regularly may be dropping advertising cookies for that product on your system. I know this is not very helpful, but if you have checked your system out and know it's clean, the best you can do may be to keep the cookies cleaned out and not to answer yes to download "opportunities".

n/p, glad to be able to help
