Virus has altered explorer display.

hi, my pc got the love letter virus and now some directorys are displayed by windows explorer in unusual ways like not having a scroll bar and the text at the top of the window (directory name etc) not being aligned properly. i have tried to alter the settings on folder options and even replaced the explorer application with one from a cab file but to no avail. although this isn't a major problem i would be interested if anyone knows a fix for it. (p3 1000MHz, windows me with 256Mb sdram).
