NT 4.0 Server - McCafee has detected virus W32/Poebot.gen but did not delete the file. Can I delete this file with no reprocussions?

If you do a search on defragfatx.exe, all that comes up on google is stuff on the virus. If you aren't sure about deletion, try renaming it. Get it out of the startup in the registry, all that stuff.

I've never heard of it as a true MS program, should be good to delete it.

Yes, I'm sure if you google it and its just a file the virus created, definitely quarantine and delete it.
