Hello,

Just wondering if NEC offers any call control via VMware... Have they ported their PBX/hardware software to industry standard servers yet?

Thanks!

The NEC Univerge 3C product is industy standard SIP. And can be loaded on a virtual machine.

Ok. So it sounds like NEC has a SIP-only product and that's what can be virtualized. They have not ported their PBX application.

Thanks so much!

Is there any difference between the software on a SV8100, 8300 and 8500? I would have assumed its all the same software.
