Hello, I'm trying to map a second virtual scsi disk to my client. Is it possible to do this without creating addition Virtual SCSI interfaces? I'm running the following:

$ mkvdev -vdev hdisk5 -vadapter vhost0 -dev rs100a

Some error messages may contain invalid information
for the Virtual I/O Server environment.

Method error (/usr/lib/methods/define -g -d):
0514-013 Logical name is required.

Thanks in advance!

Try it without the -dev option, mkvdev will generate a vtscsiNNN name for the virtual SCSI target device. I am assuming you already have a /dev/rs100a device in the VIO server and mkvdev cannot use the name you specified.

You can have multiple SCSI target (or host) devices defined on a single vhost/vclient adapter pair.
