virtual route changes

When I attempt to make a change to a virtual trunk route i get a SCH 1453 (cannot change data while route still enabled) so I disabled the D-channel, still no luck, how do I disable the route?

Thanks for for the reply, you can't dis a virtual loop. I went into Element manager and ran the command to dis VTRK, this says it disabled the Virtual route but same SCH when I try to make a change to the route.
