I had a CD-RW installed on my PC and when I try to 'Burn CD' it creates an image file. Then I select 'Write CD' and it asks me to create another image file. I noticed that the properties are setup as a 'Virtual Recorder' but I can't seem to change this. I am using Windows 98 and Nero 5.5 software. Any suggestions.

I think if Nero is suggesting a virtual recorder it means it can't find the real CDR. This is most likely because the connections have worked loose or it is mis-connected, or the CDR has died. This doesn't mean that the CDR can't be accessed by operating system as a regular CD however.
