Virtual Printer for XLS files

Hi,
I know there is a sea of free (and buyable) pdf virtual printer drivers that create a Dummy printer, then when used, sends the output to a PDF file, ......but...... is there one /a way to send the output to a XLS files.
I've spent best part of the moring looking for a XLS virtual printer drivers (can find lots of PDF and Image ones), but so far on luck.
