Virtual PC to VMWare

I have Windows 95 Running a legacy application running in Virtual PC 5.2. Virtual PC 2004 doesn't let the application work, went through 3 weeks of lengthy troubleshooting with Microsoft and they finally gave up and we returned all our 2004 licenses. We have VMWare 4.0 now, everything works fine. I want to convert VPC hard disk images to VMWare. I tried using Ghost 7.5, but Windows 95 doesn't boot when I try to boot the ghosted image in VMWare. any ideas?

You did not indicate how you are using ghost to transfer the partitions. Have you tried using SYS: on the windows 95 partition? Checked to see if it is set as active in fdisk? What error do you get when it doesnt boot anyway?
