I'm trying to have images and a background on a virtual confirmatin page I'm sending in response to a submitted form. I have tried every address for the image I can think of. I have even placed the images in the cgi-bin ,but I still can't get them to appear. The script runs fine, is this possible or not.

Are you sending this through email. If you are most emails are defaulted to to send the mail as text.

Try putting this at the begining of the email message just below the subject line.

print MAILHANDLE "Content-Type: text/html\n";

Have you tried using a complete url, including the http:// and the domain name? Tracy Dryden

thanks Haunter & tsdragon, I have the content line in the code, and the page displays fine, I just can't get any images to appear. I have tried using the absolute address with nothing to show for it . It must be an addressing problem, neither of you mentioned that it can't be done.
Do I need to include cgiwrap in my addressing like I had to do for the form action tag???
thanks again s05

I'm not sure what the problem could be. I do the same sort of thing returning program-built web pages all the time with no problems. I don't use cgiwrap though, so maybe that's what's causing your problems. Tracy Dryden
