I have a workstation that our engineering unit uses doing AutoCAD stuff. This machine has just recently started having Virtual Memory problems. It gives errors that it is getting low on Virtual Memory and machine begains to slow down. Rebooting fixes the problem for about a day. Then we need to reboot again.

I have made adjustments to increase the Virtual memory but it has not helped.

Can anybody give me some ideas?

Add more memory to the system or make the pagefile size at least double the size of the installed RAM and site it on a disk seperate to the system files. AutoCAD files are huge, and print processing takes up a lot of resources.

Thanks SjrH
The Intial Setting is 742 MB
The Max Setting is 940 MB

The installed Ram is 512 MB

I will make the max size 1024.

What do you think?
