Upon boot up, the following message occured:

"Limited Virtual Memory-your system has no paging file, or the paging file is too small"

Second message- "Virtual Memory Minimum Too Low - Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. During this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied".

My current Paging file settings is as follows:
Initial Size: 766MB Recommended
Max Size: 2000- I just increased it to this value.

Im running Win2000 Pro and my Local Drive has 34.3GB Free and I have a 512MB RAM.

I looked at the Help file and they do not mention what is the recommended size in each slot.

Ok problem solved. I had the permissions set to Only administrators and not everyone.

Thanks

But I have a 512MB RAM and I have about 34.3GB of free space on my local disk and I set the Initial size to 766 (recommended) but what should I put near the Max. size?
