Hi, this morning two separate customers reported vMBG not processing calls. When I connected the MBG Blade was not showing anything so I rebooted the Virtual Machine, during reboot the console reported out of disk space.
I have reinstalled VM, licensed and restored data base.
vMBG version 10.0.2.14

have you experienced this as well? extrange thing is that it happened to two separate customers, too much of a coincidence

please let me know,

daniel

This can often happen if someone accidentally leave a SIP Trace Running or if the MBG was used in the past for storing MCD Backups.

In the past I've used a linux command to search the DB for files over XMB

googling...e.g. find . -size +2G This will find all files greater than 2Gb

Other File sizes

`c' for bytes
'w' for two-byte words
`k' for Kilobytes
`M' for Megabytes
`G' for Gigabytes

Searching for files over 2M would be a good start.

i think core dump can also cause large files to be created

we also once had a Micollab that had a large rsyslog caused when the server was being attacked .
what are the MBgs used for - do they have TW
do you have a block list enabled to restrict access
- i have found that setting to black white deny and allowing based on a Country cidr list ( white list) stops a large number of registration attempts on TW with 5060 open

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
