I have tried to load a virtual machine that afaik was previously loading on MS Virtual PC / Virtual Server 2005 R2. This was compressed as a .RAR file and split into two separate files that were stored on DVD-R media.

After I tried to add the machine to Virtual PC using the wizard, a few errors are showing up (see attached).

Guest OS: Windows Server 2008 64 bit

I Googled the error message and got this:

"There are differences between the hardware emulated in VS and VPC. Notably, VS has a SCSI controller and VPC does not and VPC has a sound card and VS does not.

If you had a SCSI controller enabled on your VS VM, that's the likely cause."
