I am having a problem with my name based virtual hosting on my Redhat 7.0 Linux box. I have the NameVirtualHost directive in the httpd.conf file, as well as a BindAddress directive and <VirtualHost> blocks. Everything works fine as long as I look at the sites from Netscape on the Linux server. Any other machine gets the default page. Why would other machines work differently? I even tried getting the same version of Netscape as is on the Linux box to see if it was an IE problem or something. All the requests in the log file that get served the incorrect default page say they were HTTP:1.1, so they should have the necessary header information. I can post/send a copy of my httpd.conf if someone can help me.

Found my own problem here. For any of you out there who may be having similar problems, my server is behind a firewall. I had to put the fake IP address (192.168.0.2) in the namevirtualhost directive and the <virtualhost> blocks. It wouldn't work with the real IP address in there.
