virtual host URL

Hi,
How can I load a URL instaed of a document root?

I assume you can do it with mod-rewrite but i'm not sure of the syntax

insted of: subdomain.my-domain.com -> /htdocs/subbdomain/

I need: subdomain.my-domain.com -> /cgi-bin/prog.sh/prog.w?aff=xcsma
