virtual host that ask password for even ip and give access to odd ip

HEllo all

Does any body knows how do i setup a virtual host that will allow access to even IP address and requiring a password for odd IP address.

the address range is from 192.168.1.1 tp 192.168.1.10.

i already have my virtul host runing. can i know the diretive please.

Hi

Read "Authentication, Authorization and Access Control", it explains and has examples too. But you will need tot add a [tt]Satisfy[/tt] directive too.

For the even/odd part of the question, I do not think is possible so simple as you described it. The ways to specify the addresses you can find at the [tt]Allow[/tt] directive's description.
