Hi all

I've setup a local intranet where if the users type in the server will direct them to the appropriate folder and the intranet will load up.

I have two questions:

1. If i want to create this which will direct me , as an administrator, to the phpmyadmin folder. is this possible? if so how can i set it up?

2. When the users enter the site a form will load asking the client to accept the certificate. Is there a way to remove that and just loads the site?

Thanks in advance

Bernini,

Sure, both of these things can be accomplished.

1. Create different VirtualHost containers. One for port 443 (unless you use a different port for SSL), and another for port 9991.

2. If you want to not have the client prompted to accept the certificate, there are three ways you could accomplish this. You could get a certificate from a root CA that is already trusted by the client (such as VeriSign), you could add a trust relationship to the client manually before they visit the site, or you could reduce the security level on the clients so that they accept all certificates, regardless of trust.

thanks Wishdiak

I tried to create another virtualhost within the ssl.conf file but when i tried to restart the apache service it failed. I also set a Listen 9991 and a new VirtualHost as <virtualhost _default_:9991> !

What can be the problem?

Thanks
