Hi All
Apache is running over windows 2000 adv server. We already hosted a web site. Now I want to host two more website in the same apache server using namebased virtual host by using the same ip. I read some articles and it says about creating virtualhost directive. My problem is I dont know where to create this directive in apache which runs in windows.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Nanda

Just create the VirtualHost directive at the end of the httpd.conf file. You might also want to see faq65-1831.

Thanks for the immediate reply.I couldnt find httpd.conf file in my installation. I searched my entire hard drive, but no luck. I have conf folder and I can see only server.xml and web.xml files in conf folder.
Thanks
Nanda

I'm pretty sure it's named the same on the windows version. What file did you edit to make your existing web site work correctly?

I am not sure and the existing web site was configured by previous administrator.I have no clue about that.
I can see the following folder under tomcat
bin,common,conf,logs,server,shared,temp,webapps,work.
under conf folder,Following files
catalina.policy
jk2.properties
server.xml
web.xml
tomcat-users.xml

Thanks
Nanda
