I need to create an extension without wasting a port. This exten will be for a voice mail box that will come on after hours for one of queues. So I need to created without wasting a port no physical unit is going to be connected to it and i need to go straight to voicemail when the queue is closed

Well, if you have MLX or TDL extensions on your system, each physical extension also has an "adjunct" extension, which is perfect for your purpose.
