I have a working Postfix mail server that is configured with mysql for domains and users. I have inserted the domain into the mysql table using the mysql control panel and added a zone file for the domain for web mail but the directory is not created under '/var/spool/posfix/virtual' nor can I login to a mail user at the new domain after inserting a new user using the web mail admin interface at mail.domain.xxx/admin. How is a new domain added beyond these steps? There is a file 'mailadd.sh' in the directory '/etc/httpd/conf'.

I don't have an answer for you regarding what is wrong, but I too use postfix with MySQL for virtual domains. I create them with PostfixAdmin, which is a php plugin and haven't had any problems.
