Halo,
This has happened a few times over the last year or so with our sendmail. We are running 8.12 on RH 7.3 with MailScanner and spamassassin. We host about 200 virtual mail domains. One domain cannot send mail to a specific user@domain.com. They receive a Reverse PTR error - RFC822 from our mail server. We have checked and the PTR for that domain is fine. In fact, we can send email to that domain from a few other virtuals we host. Obviously a bogus message. Headers show no other errors.
Without posting my sendmail.cf, has anyone have any ideas on what may be causing this? I will post it, but not at work now - can post later if needed. But, not sure if needed since other domains work fine?
Help and assistance greatly appreciated.
