Hi.

We have a Meridian 1 Opt. 11C, and at this momment we don't have TN's Free, My question is: It is possible to create a Virtual DN only to use only to forward to Voicemail or to a public Number?

Thank You and sorry for my ingnorance. :)

Go to load 97 and program loop 96 as a phantom.

REQ:CHG
CUST: 0
SUPL: n96

Then default the rest.

The TN you will program will be cards 61 to 64 and 81 to 84 in the pbx. Loop 96 coresponds to 61 andf 81

You may already have phantom dns. Go to ld 20 and print out unused 500 tns

To use for forwarding, program a 500 set on a phantom tn and set DCFW to the dn you want to forward to (usually your voicemail)

You can also use an ACD queue set to MAXP 1 and NCFW to Vmail.

Assuming that you have ACD's to use...

When I first got here, the previous tech had set up a butt load of ACDs to MAXP 1 to voicemail and other locations. Add to that (being a fortune 50 company) we have 3 call centers, and bunch of other small acd groups. I was totally out of ACDs. I've since gone through and identified all the ones that are no longer necessary and deleted them and most of the MAXP 1's have been converted to phantoms.
