Hey All,

I didn't set this up and I really have no Exchange 2000 experience. We have an Exchange 2000 server with a RAID 5 and RAID 1 Virtual Disks. They are partitioned as follows:

RAID 1:

C:\ Drive
E:\ Drive

RAID 5:

D:\ Drive

The D: drive contains all the exchange databases and information. When I go to windows explorer, I see and M: drive labeled Exchange. When I explore it, is is all the database information in folder and file form. Humor me, since I have no experience with Exchange 2000 yet, what is this used for, and am I correct in my assumption of what is is? Thanks! :)

The M: Drive is used by Exchange server.
Your assumption is correct ->
Whatever you do, do NOT mess with it!
