Virtual Directory in IIS 6.0 and

Good morning,
I have over 1600+ virtual directories set up in IIS, where users FTP to the IIS server using an active directory ID, then they are mapped to their virtual path.
We have been migrating ppl to DFS lately and now I have a delima. The virtual directory name needs to change for 1/2 of them to the new DFS name.
I am not sure of the best way to make the change.

I found the best approach was to use the iiscnfg command to export the metadata into a xml file, modify the xml, and then import it back into FTP
