Can anyone tell me how to correct an error that appears as a box when I try to execute a couple of programs on my system. I am able to choose "Ignor", but would like to clean up what ever is causing the message to popup. I used the Emergency Restore Disk, but still get the error.
The title on the error box is "16 bit winsows subsystem". The message is: "SYSTEM\Current Control Set\Control\VertualDeviceDrivers. VDD. Virtual Device format in the registry is invalid." Choose "Close to Terminate the application." The option buttons are Close and Ignor.
