I am evaluating the VP2020 color ink jet label printer by Vip. I am looking for some feed back from anyone who has experience with this model or with similar inkjet color label printing solutions.
-How well does it hold up to your office or production environment?
-Does it burn through allot of consumables ie print heads, ink cartridges, etc.?
-How often does it need maintenance?
-How long have you been using it in your shop or office?
-How do the users like it? Was it terribly difficult for them to learn, do they tear it up allot etc.?
Thus far the inkjet labels we have designed have been very unimpressive but the pre made label examples that come with the printer look fantastic. So the all knowing people in our marketing department are dead set on getting this hardware to replace our thermal label printers. We are currently using the QLS4100 for color labels which is a nightmare in its on right but at least I know whats going on with them.
