I have a SRG50 V3 connected to CS1K. When the CS1K send the number to the SRG via IPTrunks it is sending it as E.164/National. I have tried different combination to receive the digits as National but cannot get it to work. Can someone post the correct setting on the SRG to receive E.164/National? Once received I have it routed to the local PSTN.

Thanks in advance

I'm going to guess it's being rejected since you don't have a remote access package configured to allow the call to tandem from the IP trunks to the PSTN trunks. Configure remote access package 1 with access to bloca (IP trunks) and whatver pool your PSTN trunks are in, probably blocb if PRI or pool A if analog. Assing that remote access package to the IP trunks and the analog trunks, then try again.

Whatever digits you're prepending the call with needs to be set as a destination code, absorbing all, pointed to your PSTN trunks. If you dial 5551212, the CS1K will prepend something to that depending on how you configured it. It might put 111 in front of those digits and send you 1115551212. In that case, build your destination code of 111, absorbing all, pointing to the PSTN route.

Whoops. Should say 'try adding that remote access package to the IP trunks and the analog trunks, then try again'. Not assing. Gotta learn to read before clicking submit I guess.

Thanks biv343,

The remote package has been configured for PSTN and VOIP access and applied.
I have figured it out. I had to configured the VOIP to be public not privite. (I have segment half to be privite for the interoffice dialing and public for PSNT access).
Currently, I'm trying to re-route certain incoming calls from the VIOP trunks from the CS1K back to the NRS to the CS1K and hoping the MCDN kicks in and the BCM will not use 2 IP trunks.

Ex. IP Phone(normal mode) CS1K calls ->18005551212-> NRS (10118005551212)->SRG as(1011800551212)->SRG PSTN(PRI) 1800551212. Working fine.

Now wold like to have:
IP Phone(normal mode) CS1K calls ->18005551212-> NRS (10118005551212)->SRG as(1011800551212)-> re-route to NRS (918005551212)->back to CS1K and out CS1K PSTN.
With this would setup, I was hoping for the MCDN/TAT kicks in so that it would not take to VIOP trunks in this whole process.

Yes. Maybe it's better to do all the routing on the CS1K side before sending it to SRG PSTN, but I would like to test if the number that the SRG received strip and insert and pass it back the the CS1K -will MCDN /TAT still works.

So far, form the BCM monitor - I can see that The BCM is 10118005551212 and sending back to the NRS as 918005551212. In the NRS I do have the an entry in the endpoint to point is to the CS1K (E.164/national). Traced VDCH -show the outgoing call (10118005551212) but do not see any incoming calls. (should be seeing 918005551212)

Any ideas?

Again Thanks.
