VIO server

Hi Experts,

Looking for best advice, I have 2 servers or lpars where padmin ID is being locked due to multiple login attempts. Please suggest best way to reset the padmin password without rebooting.

If rebooting these 2 vio servers is required, can I just boot off the NIM these 2 vio servers individually and reset the password.?? or Do i need to bring down whole frame, just to reboot one VIO server.

Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Not sure right now, but I think there is an option in HMC to run commands on LPARs from HMC, perhaps this could work without rebooting the VIO.
