VIO server monitoring 1

Hello again.

First thing first, I was 50/50 about whether to put this in an AIX forum or look for a monitoring forum, so apologies if you think this is in the wrong area.

Anyway.....

Our p570's are normally split into different lpars running AIX 5.3. These run Tivoli monitoring for problem detection/raising.

We also have a p570 using VIO for its lpars (still AIX 5.3, with the VIO running 6.1). Once again the lpars have Tivoli installed for monitoring. However, the VIO server itself currently has nothing. Does anyone know if Tivoli can be installed OK on the VIO partition, or if there are any specifics?

Not sure about Tivoli but IBM Director agents are supported on IOS 1.5 and above.
