Hello,

I have created a rootvg2 on my virtual i/o server (a p550) and created two logical volumes of 32G each. When I lspv the hdisks on the individual lpars one shows 32G the other 20G. I went back through my shell history to see if I had a type but no, as far as I can tell on the vio level everything is the same, yet I am not getting all of my storage on one of my servers. Any ideas of things to try?
Thanks!

What version of VIO are you running? As padmin, type "ioslevel" .

What about the OS on the client lpars (oslevel -r) ?

Are you saying you have created a rootvg2, with two lv's, and you presented the two lv's to the client lpars as vscsi devices? I'm just trying to get a feel for how you set up the client lpar disks.

If you run lsvg -lv rootvg2, what are the sizes of the logical volumes? When you run lsmap -all, do the correct lv's correspond to the assigned vtscsi/vhost? All of these are to be run on the VIO server.
