hi people,

I'm a local systemadministrator working at a place which runs banyan vines. I'm (unfortunately) not a server administrator. At home, where i'm directely connected to my office LAN, I want to set up a private network with a Linux redhat 7.2 server. I can't seem to log in to the vines server from my workstation through the firewall on the linux server. If I remember right I have to open udp port 537 on the firewall to acces the vines server. Is that correct?

If you don't have a direct answer, do you know a site where I can find good info on vines? banyan.com doesn't exist anymore.

Thanks,

SmokeyD

You could always use a packet sniffer to see what ports are used during a normal login.
