Viking W2000A Door Box on AVAYA

Anyone have any luck setting up a Viking W2000A Door Box on an Avaya PBX (CM rel 7.x)?

I've setup the hot dial on the analog line, and have tested it working as it should with a regular analog phone. I've done this MANY times.

I cannot get the door box to work? It should work as per the very basic instructions.

Am I missing something?

The W2000 connects to a loop-start CO LINE / TRUNK port, not to a station port. When you press the Call button, its built in ring voltage supply generates ringing voltage to appear as an incoming call on the trunk port, program that to ring to the phones that need to answer the door.
