I have a Viking door opener attacked to a port (co trunk port 806) in a Magix 4.0 V7 set in the Hybred Mode now and It works great.
I need to reconfig the Magix and end up in the Key mode. What do I need to do to allow a few analog extensions access to this trunk port to open the door?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

If you do not have OVERHEAD Paging, you can program it as a PAGING PORT and they can just do a PICK UP of that line.

(#9 Line Number)

Of course there are a couple of very good ways to do this.

1 way:

You could renumber the line from 8xx to 5 or 6 or something, depending on your dial plan. Then they would dial #95 (or 6)

OR, you could program an inside auto dial to #01 that would do this if they dialed #01.

That is, you could program #01 (Personal Speed Dial 1) to be *22 PAGING LINE NUMBER (8xx 5 or 6).

Thanks Merlin Man,

As you can see by the question, I'm changing the switch back to Key. I had the opener working in a pool, but they insisted it was too complicated to use.

Good tip, I'll try it in the morning.

Merlinman,

The "loudspeaker Page" feature worked on the Viking Door opener. As you suggested I changed Loudspeaker Page port 806 to just 6, so #96 was the access code from any analog sets.

Thanks alot !
