Viking door controller on IP406 1

We have a Viking C-2000B door controller on a IP406 system analog port, We have it set up when the call button is pushed it acts as a hotline using ?D so it automatically dials a hunt group. This works fine, but I need to program a 4 second or so pause between going offhook and when it dials so it gives people a chance to enter in a access code. Any ideas? I am a little limited due to the programming limitations of the Viking product. Thanks for any help!

you could try putting a virtual user into the HG you are ringing with a 5 second overflow timer to a HG with the members you want to ring in it?

you might want to play around with it a bit until you get it right.

otherwise you could fudge it in VM Pro if you have that?

We will give that a try, we thought about the overflow part but not the virtual user, they have VM Lite so no go there, thanks for the help.
