I have a Viewsonic lcd display that I believe is going bad. When I boot up the computer the letters displayed on the POST screen are yellow instead of white. This doesn't always occur, but is becoming more frequent. When this happens and I finally get logged into Windows I have some faint yellow horizontal lines on the display that are about 2" in width. I'm wondering if this is a video card related issue or a display issue. I've spoken to Viewsonic and they say that I can ship my display to them and they will diagnose it...but that will cost $75 to ship it so I thought I'd ask here before I go that route. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried replacing the video cable? Have you tested this on another PC or video card?
