I have been using Frontpage for several months. My screen has always been divided into thirds. The leftmost third displayed icons for the various view options (reports, folders, etc). The middle third displayed the currently selected choice. Usually I kept that on "folders". The rightmost third displayed my open web pages with tabs for movement among them.

Now I have somehow changed this view, and its driving me crazy! On the left, I see the different view icons, just like always. The middle third displays my folders. The rightmost third displays the contents of the current folder. So you cannot see an open web page and the folders at the same time. Now when you open a web page's html it takes up the whole screen.

How do I go back to the old view? I want to be able to see my directories and one open web page.

Make sure that the far left bar, you have selected Page view, rather then Folder view.

Then, in the VIEW menu at the top of FP, select FOLDER LIST (Or hold ALT and press v > e ). This is a toggle menu item, and it sounds like you may have accidently turned the folder list off.

You are brilliant! I would give you a star, but I don't know how to give stars.
